Hi, I'm in the UK, I'm Scottish but live in the south of England, very happy family man and successful business man. I was diagnosed with CLL 9 weeks ago and I'm coping fine....no really, I am.
I just don't know anyone else with this stuff and don't know what to expect....other than I'm going to be just fine.
I'm a pragmatic sort of a guy and so 'my fight' is threefold
1. Reconnect with my maker
2. Change diet including daily wheatgrass shots
3. Qigong (chee gong) every day
The doctor said "come back in September....this could go on for years without treatment"....I'm okay with that and I'm not looking for answers or solutions (unless of course youve just been handed the miracle cure!), I just want to hear from someone who is in the same boat....you out there?
thanks. _________________ CLL Scotsman |

Hi there,
Thank you so much for your reply and view, I really appreciate it.
I have in fact had many, mnay replies, not sure how that doesn't appear....has an administrator removed them?
I have had a lot of kind and great advice and the forum has really helped me come to terms and toughen up. I feel strong and positive about the future thanks
Best

Hi Lawand....we are both newly diagnosed with Cll....so I can appreciate most of what you are going through. Im curious about your daily qugong and wheatgrass....can you give me additional info on that? Also....we were living in southern England for two years.....not far outside of Reading....so we have something in common there too! As a matter of fact...it was only weeks after we returned to our home in Canada that I received my diagnosis....not the most joyful homecoming present.
Anyways...hope to hear from you and best wishes. _________________ This above all else, to thine ownself be true. |

Hi. I too have CLL. I was diagnosed young for CLL at 42. I am stage 2 and have not required treatment yet. I see my awesome oncologist every 3 mos. I also am being proactive at home. Now what I am sharing with you I find is beneficial to me. I am not a Dr and am not by any means telling you what to do.
A friend of mine personally knows one of the top 3 alternative medicine Dr's in the US. He and I have spoken on the phone. This is the regimine he put me on. He is not only a Dr he is also a cancer survivor.
1) get a good juicer. get organic carrots and beets. If not organic then peel them. Drink beet and carrot juice 3 times daily. I add an apple to the mix. (this is a good thing to do even if you dont have cancer) It certainly wont hurt.
2) you should look up Methyl Jasmonate on the net. It is really exspensive but supposedly is excellent for CLL. (check with your oncologist first)
3) This part I was most put off by. Coffee Enemas daily. There are places on the net that sell the proper coffee and enema kits on line.
As much as I thought this was a bunch of C_ _ _ .As much as I resisted this regimine I knew I had nothing to loose and everything to gain.
Remeber I am not a Dr or even an expert on this but I have CLL and have done a lot of reading. Also I trust both my Oncologist and the Alternative medicine Dr. I would give you his name but I think we are not supposed to do that on the forum.
Take Care |
