At a support group I was given a sample copy of CURE. It's a nice little magazine with news and articles about all kinds of cancers. It's got quite a bit of advertising from companies that have drugs and products for cancer patients, but the content is quite good. For example, the last issue featured a table of various drugs in the pipeline--what kind of drugs, for what cancers, what stage of development the drug was in, etc. There are also articles about nutrition, emotional well-being, etc. It's FREE to cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers (hence the large amount of advertising to support the publication). The website is http://www.curetoday.com/ and you can sign up for a subscription on the site if you like.

Thank you for this information - looks interesting.

We have a similar one which was started by an individual desperate when his daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer and he could not get information. Its link is: http://www.canceractive.com/

Copies are provided free to clinics and doctors' surgeries.
