Hi again,

Diagnosed 05/04/08
Surgery

Home from surgery 05/08/08

had 42 days radiation & temodar chemo....did that then the 5/23 off


Had mri 07/23/08.new growths....neuro said surgery would leave me disabled, so that is out
went to md anderson, . md anderson gave me new chemo plan......Tabliod, temodar & accutane over a 28 day period... i did that for i think 3 months....had to find new oncologist, mine moved out of state.....all the good ones move.....his replacment...didn't want me as a patient, ao we talked to neuro and got a recommendation, and took it.

Now I am on infusion of avastin, and carboplatin ordered by md anderson............no side effects yet.....I figure if I can eat temodar and control the naseau, I can kick anything

next mri is end of october....i think that will be the one that tells........I have had all this chemo....and no shrinkage.....they need a different plan

Christy, thank you for the update. I am glad you are tolerating your treatments well. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. MD Anderson is a wonderful cancer center, isn't it?

2005 Recurrence this time said to be an Oligodendoglioma grade 3, same location.
