Hi Guys,
Well, I'm back. I haven't posted in a while. But I just found out the cancer is back. So I'm back!
Other than that, things are going well! I have a new job in a new town. I tried to move away from the Cancer but it followed me!
I've been doing absolutely great since March, and now... this!
So, I'll keep in touch. It's good to be back, I just wish I wasn't. Some really great people post here.
I have a new website!!! check it out!

Hi Rachelle
I'm so sorry to hear that its back. You sound remarkably cheery ! I have no idea what type of lymphoma you have but Im pretty sure you know what the drill is. I hope it all goes well and you are in remission soon. I had a look at your blog. I work with people who have autism so I know exactly what you go through on a daily basis, and for you to come on here and show such a brave face is remarkable. Good onya girl I was wondering did you post your story here ?

Hi Dear!
Looks like you are doing well. I'm doing okay! I try to stay cheerful because it helps. It doesn't help me to get all upset -- although most days that upsettedness gets the best of me. Especially this week. Today I didn't get out of bed until 4:00 pm, which was about ten hours later than I wanted to get up! lol.
I work nights though at the hospital. I usually work Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon nights from 7p-7a, so this is (technically) my Sunday, so theoretically I can justify sleeping in on that angle!
This life is hard, but it's not everything. I guess the scariest part of "it's baaack!", is the fact that I'm a single Mom, of an autistic year old, and I work full time and (still) go to school full time (although now most of my coursework is online, which helps). My point is that, I can't afford to be sick. Last year I had a little bit more support than I have here in Gainesville. So I don't know what I'm going to do if I have to have extensive treatment.
But, perhaps after this period of "watchful waiting," they will just do surgery to remove the afflicted nodes and then some followup radiation, and then call it quites, so no big deal. But I don't know if I can handle a whole another year of on-again, off-again treatment. I did work most of last year through radiation, But, it was pretty hit-or-miss, and my former nursing manager was NOT understanding AT ALL. My current nurse manager is amazing, so I don't doubt that I'll have a job when I come back if I have to take some time off.
Anyway, I'm just not going to think about it for a few days because it's so overwhelming. I hope that everything is going to work out. But I believe that it will work out, because everything always had worked out before. My biggest concern IS my son's wellbeing. If anything happens to me....I'm all he has.
-Rachele-
