Hi everybody, I'm closing in on my three year mark after my SCT. FYI I posted the STICKY at the top of the page about my SCT.

I have been having trouble with constipation for a couple of months. I took several laxatives prescribed by the doctor. Very little was helping. I had made up my mind to talk to a GI doc but I ended up in the emergency room before I had a chance to see him. I just knew the lymphoma was back. My gut had bloated to the point that I thought I was going to explode. I didn't have any pain but I felt miserable. It only took the emergency room doc a few minutes to diagnose appendicitis. They took it out and I'm back to normal. My appendix was apparently in bad shape but it did not hurt.

I guess the point of this story is that every little thing that goes wrong is always a worry that the cancer has come back.

Oh goodness! Appendicitis? I am glad they caught it before it reputed. Yeah, every little pain makes me wonder too. Although it is terrible that you had appendicitis, I am glad that your cancer is not back.

I'm glad it was only your appendix. Its nice to hear that others freak out as well Smile. Makes me feel sort of normal Wink
