Dear Sir,

My brother aged 37, is suffering from cancer in lungs. Biopsy results says that ' Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma' in lungs( middle lobe of right lung). After diagnosis in Sept-2004, he under went for treatment 'Chemotheraphy ( ~10 doses) & Radiotheraphy ( ~ 15 sittings) in the month of Oct-2004 & Nov-2004 at Indo-American Cancer Reasearch Institute, Hyderabad, India. Doctors said that he is at Stage-III.
He is going for regular checkup and recently it has been observed (in X-ray) that there is a fluid accumulation in right lung completely, the fluid samples sent to laboratory and said that no cancer cells in that.
Doctor confirms cancer has not spread to any other part of the body and suggested to go for surgery to remove the effected part of right lung.
My brother is a diabatic and due to effect of chemo & radiation he is unable to take / digest normal quantity of food. He finds difficulty in swallowing food and prefers mostly liquid food. He has become very weak and loss in weight and he is not ready / preferring for surgery.
I want to the prognosis of this kind of patient and any improvement of life after surgery.
