I haven't posted since this one but wanted to give a followup.

Quick history. Radical at 43 years old. (8 years ago) PSA 4.4, Gleason 3+3. Post biop they did find a "speck" of #5. For 7 years PSA's undetectable <.10 until hypersensitive tests and then it hung around .04. Last Spring it went to .07, then back to .05, then back up to .09. Last September up to .14. I waited until after the Holidays and, even though it had gone down a bit to .12 I pulled the trigger.

It was intimidating at least getting marked (tattooed) CT scans, practice run, etc. However, I have basically had no side effects besides a little urinary urgency. It has been a PITA as far as getting out of town for any period of time. But, in two weeks I am through. I know that the PSA anxiety will always be there but I already have a vacation planned and am looking so forward to it.

Glad to hear you're doing well with the salvage treatments. Best wishes!

I'm Done! 38 SRT treatments went quicker than I had expected. I did have to skip two that pushed the last one back to yesterday. Basically no side effects other than a little urinary urgency. I will make one recommendation. Don't have sex during the last couple weeks of treatment. Without getting into details, it ain't worth the pain. Shocked

Now the wait. 30 days and I'm back to the Onco and 20-30 days after that back to the Uro for the first PSA check.
