Hi I am new. My my just had a CT scan that showed unusally large amount of bone growth throughout her chest wall. She has had months of shotness of breath. She is being reffered to a medical oncologist, also to a kidney specialist because her sodium is staying too low and she has recently been falling a lot. Her Med history is Breast CA 28 yrs ago and Cervical CA 15 Years ago. I;m an RN and the pieces I see being put together here don't look very good to me. She has stated for years that she will never undergo Chemo or radiation treatment again after her experience 28 years ago. If and I think it is likely, that this is bone cancer, what sort of timeline does bone cancer grow at? If there are already mets to kidney and brain, how much would that speed things up? I know none of you are doctors I just want someone who has walked this road to tell me what I might be looking at.
