Im new to this site and i guess cancer forums in general
and this will be my first time speaking publicly about any
part of my cancer experience, but i think its healthy to get things
out in the open and to not hold too much in. Well i had a question
and it's just this. When i was going through some of the more intense
portions of chemotherapy i experienced a weird symptom of the chemo
(or at least i thought it was the chemo, to this day neither I or my doctors
know what caused it ) where following a fever i would black out and
wake up days later in the ICU, now i remember the second time this happened about 30 mins before i "fainted" i was typing on my laptop
and when i decided to log into my account on a certain website it asked for
my user name and password, so just like i had done hundreds of times before i put them into the little spaces provided only this time something wasn't right, while i was typing i was looking at the keyboard to see the letters as i typed them in and it looked right so far but when i looked to the screed the space where i put in my user name read [ fiwywldfy ] ( which isn't my user name at all ) confused i quickly erased it and tried again and to my dismay it was all jumbles again, I did this a good 30 times before i decided to ask for help and called my at the time girlfriend
into my room from the living room and asked her to put my user name in for me thinking maybe I'm just stressed and cant think straight, so after
she input my name and password i began to type some emails up
and after about 5 minutes i began to get a horrible headache so i stopped typing and took some breaths slowly and asked my girlfriend to read them over and see if it sounds right, so she looked them over and after a couple seconds she had a funny look on her face so i asked "whats wrong?" obviously curious as to why she had a funny look and she replied
"is this a joke?" stunned i said "no I'm trying to write some emails why?"
then she turned my head to the screen and i couldn't quite see anything because by that point my eyes had gone fuzzy in part with my headaches
but as i looked closer sure enough it was paragraph after paragraph
of jumbled words illegible by anyone, now at this point i was scared because the headaches turned to mind numbing pain so i called to my mom who was in the living room and asked her to take my temperature
which then told me i had a fever of 101 so we decided to go to the hospital and i went to gather some clothes deciding i would probably have to stay there for a bit and the last thing i remember was standing by the bathroom door in excruciating pain but awake, then BAM! out of nowhere i wake up in darkness at the hospital with all kinds of wires and machines sticking out of me. Come to find out i had passed out for the second time at the top of a flight of stairs and was carried down by paramedics and firefighters and i had woken up 3 days later i had been in a short coma for the second but not the last time. Now the doctors had some theories like one of the chemotherapy drugs Methotrexate might have caused something with my brain but to this day i still don't have a clear answer, anyways i was just curious to know if anyone else had experienced anything like this because it happened to me about 4 times in all
and has never been explained. Thank You

Still waiting and praying it doesn't come back.
