I wanted to know how long a lymph node will stay enlarged? I went to have a CT on my neck in Jan. for an enlarged node. It came back that it was only 8mm which surprised me because it feels much bigger than that. I have not been pressing on it or anything for it to stay enlarged & I haven't been sick. I don't have any other symptoms except that I have been extremely tired for months.

Chances are u are ok. I am not a DR. but when I had enlarged L nodes, they got bigger within 2 weeks as I played with it. The CT scan showed i had enlarge nodes on my neck and in the chest. But that can't tell much - the blood test didn't tell much too. It took many test to confirm the disease.. I had CT scan, a scope done in my nose, a lung x- ray to determine if TB, I was on ANti B, but the sweel didn't subside, the blood test didn't show cancer......... the doctors were puzzled and ordered a biopsy. They didn't want to cut me unless needed.

It took 2 biopsy to tell me I had Hodgkin Lymphoma. The 1st biopsy say - no cancer. The 2nd one did. My doctor told me , a patient had 5 biopsies to confirm the disease. For lymphoma, the cancer cells may be in one swollen nodes and not the other... I had a few swollen nodes,... but now that u have just one..... ?????

Tired??? Could it be tyroid problem!!!??? Blood test can tell!!!
