My grandmother - who is 83 - was just diagnosed with Small Cell 2 weeks ago. This week we were told that it had spread to her brain, back, and liver She's going to do chemo for 2 months and test again. On Friday, they told us that with no chemo she would only have 3 months. I'm not sure how to ask this, I have been trying to google it - I want to go into this understanding everything - We aren't really hopeful that the chemo is going to cure anything - only prolong - Ultimately I want to hear that she will have no pain Smile honestly - I just want to understand what our family is facing - I'm not good with surprises. If anyone can give me an idea where to find this information, I would appreciate it.

It sounds like stage iv lung cancer, which is what my father has. It took me a while to navigate through all the lung cancer information on the web. The site posted below gave me a lot of info, unfortunately, it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Crying or Very sad
