My sister Miss Manswita Basu, age 25,
height - 5' 2", weight - 55 kg,
had been diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme
after undergoing surgery for a right temporoparietal SOL last January.
We live in the city of Kolkata in eastern India.
She received 30 linear acceleration radiations after surgery, and 6 cycles of Temodal (250 mg) have been administered,-- last dose being in this August.

There has been only mild side effects, and blood reports
have mostly been normal throughout. Overall, there hasn't been any
significant problems.
The post operative CT Scans show no increase in size of the residual tumor. She has no significant weakness in her limbs and her overall activities are normal. She has even joined her office recently.

I would be obliged if you could kindly advice us whether to continue her chemotherapy, and specify the dosage.
Is there any facility for any other type of therapy like gene therapy or antineoplastons therapy or any other type of therapy that may be applied to effectiveness? I have read in the internet that these treatments are showing promising results in the foreign countries. Are these treatments feasible and safe?Is there any place in India where these treatments are done? Can any immune system triggering drug be used to increase the effectiveness of chemotherapy? Can any special diet be recommended for the same purpose?
