Hi, I'm new here, just wanted to ask what are some of the symptoms any of you noticed first about having colon cancer. I have been having trouble with bowel movements. unless I take a mild laxative or that pink stuff, lol, I have trouble having bowel movements. My grandmother had colon cancer, then it spread to her bladder, and eventually through out her body. I think I just have a bad case of constipation (let's pray) but I do have a doctor's appt. on Monday Sept 19th. I know I will have to go through some test, but it will ease my mind. I am a wife and mother of three daughters, I have a long life before me. I'm only 42. thanks for listening.

you've taken the first most important step...you made a doctor's appointment
I'll pray that it is something very simple (most likely it is) but I know you will worry over the weekend!
