My girlfriend's mother may have cancer. What is this ?

My girlfriend told me today that her mother may have cancer. Most likely lung cancer, b/c she smokes a lot.

Of course, i want to help my girlfriend cope, as well as her mother.

Now, here's the difficult part. She lives in America, and i am in the UK finishing my university education before moving to America in the summer.

How can i help her cope without physically being there?

PS: my princess is a tough cookie. or at least she tries to be. i know deep down she's as soft as i am. i love her with all my heart, and her mother is a star. i know sometimes it's cliche to say this, and many may not think it makes a difference. but please pray for her, please. god bless you all.
