I'm a 42-year old male, and a physician, as well as a victim of myeloma mainly of the spine and ribs.

I have completed my VAD cycles - about 8 months ago. I'm doing stable - but not cured. Currently interested in such trials involving the use of Velcade and Revlimid - both of which do not entail cell-killing.

Is there anyone, or one with a relative/friend who has undergone such trials? I'd like to know the treatment and outcome experience.

Thanks for posting. I know at the Mayo Clinic they have several Multiple Myeloma Trials. Here is the page for MM trials:
