Any Chances?

Hi all

Im 24 years old Male; and during the last couple months
I have developed bloating and pain and pressure on my upper right
abdomin area.I ve done ultrasound and it showed a mass 10mm< on
my liver.I will have to do a CT scan in couple weeks but Im reallu anxious to know if it can be a liver cancer? My doctor told me that its unlikely
that 10mm tumour cause any difficulty at all (and also its a common to have benign tumour on the liver)but I want to know if it might be another larger tumour in my liver which ultrasound wasnt able to catch it?

ps:I havent diagnosed with any liver disease in the past(hepatitis cirohisis....)

First of all, i'd suggest you don't rely on the words of one Doctor. Secondly, if you can have it written down for you, try to get Hep C RNA test done, and see if thats clear. Developing a mass over any organ of the body is not normal and so I'd rather you don't waste time and get the CT Scan done at once, and if you have the facility of PETScan available, get THAT done, thats much more detailed and reliable as compared to a CT Scan. My mother's Gastroentrologists always used to say that she is having pain due to her age factor etc. etc., and when we finally found out, she had a huge tumor inside her liver which has now spread out to the lymph nodes. Don't waste another couple of weeks and get tests done to confirm evthing. These things grow very fast.
