Hi everyone,
I am a recent survivor of testicular cancer, and I have found there to be major problems in regards to TC survivors seeking testosterone replacement therapy, and also suffering depression and fatigue among other problems due to lowered testosterone levels.

I was wondering how it is for you ladies in regards to losing an ovary, have you found any negative effects of lowered estrogens, any fatigue, lowered libido, did you get your estrogens checked, before and after? were you offered ERT?

I am curious to know, thanks.

I think it's different with us because we are used to losing hormone functionality thru menopause, so it's probably not as big a deal. I know I was already post menopausal when I had my ovaries removed, so there was no post-surgery therapy.
