Some of you may be aware that drugs stimulating the production of blood cells for anemia are being examined more closely due to some questions about them that have been raised. Many breast cancer patients get these drugs as part of their treatment, particularly those doing dose-dense treatment. The drugs MIGHT not be a problem when not exceeding the recommended dose, but you might want to read this very current update about these drugs:
