I have an autoimmune disease called Sjogrens Syndrome. I have had lymphadenopathy bilaterally in my neck for several months. Because I am at a higher risk for Lymphoma due to the Sjogrens my doctor sent me for an MRI of the neck. It showed no pathalogic cervical adenopathy
meaning no evidence of malignancy, and bilateral nonspecific shotty nodes. I also have enlarged Parotids bilaterally and they have been chronically swollen for years.

I understand all the terminology but I wonder if anyone presented with lymphoma with these diagnostic findings. My doctor is assuming it is the Sjogrens but I wonder if I should be more aggressive in determining the exact cause.

Has anyone had an MRI with these findings end up having lymphoma?

I appreciate your help.

One option is to monitor these lymph nodes closely with imaging such as MRI or CT. Another is to do a biopsy. You should discuss these options with your medical team. Best Wishes
