Hi

I really need some insight from you people here ?!

Been going through a bad phase. Lost my mom last year, paid divorce alimony a month back and now my father has 2.5 cm (localized) pancreatic tumor. He was losing weight since a few months but we thought he is lonely after my mom passed away.

His symptom is acute jaundice. Stent has been put in and last night another endoscopy was done. The doctor says that the drainage is okay but his bilirubin is not going down, its at 18.8 when the normal is at 1. SGPT/SGOT etc are all high over the normals. The doctor still says that the tumor is localized at the pancreas head.

My father is not in USA right now. We are waiting for his bilirubin level to drop before we can fly him to USA and my bro in law is a senior Gastroenterologist in New York so he will tell us the exact scenario.
