Reglan

My father in law, diagnosed over 2 months ago with Stage 2 adenocarcinoma went in for a Whipple last week. The tumor had apparently been too large and had wrapped around the hepatic vein so they could not operate. They closed him up and told him they would try some chemo to see if they could shrink it but the common protocol would be of no help to him and wanted him to be part of a new clinical trial. They gave him Reglan and released him from the hospital. He took the meds and last night was feeling very ill from the medicine. He got out of bed to go to the bathroom and fell. He was completely disoriented, eyes rolling back in his head, had no idea where he was and could not talk. He is now back in the hospital where they are monitoring him and especially his pressure. He did not have a stroke. I was wondering if anyone else had been given Reglan and did they experience any side effects? His doctor said it was intended to aid in digestion.
