I have gone without a menstrual cycle for 6 years and over the last 3 months have been having a cycle every 10 days with cramping and heavy bleeding. Well now I am spotting all the time. My GYN did a biopsy of my uterus but says it is negative for cancer but suggest that I have polyps so he wants to do a D&C and hysteroscopy within the next couple of weeks. Is there a need to worry about this or am I over reacting? Confused

Hi Inica,
I had my D/C and hysteroscopy yesterday with extensive scrapping of the uterine lining. The doctor did remove a polyp and found two suspicious areas and sent those to pathology. It is wait and see now.

I'm feeling okay. Just taking it easy today as the doctor ordered. . I am a little concerned about the suspicious areas he sent to pathology. Thanks for asking and replying to my posts.

Thats what we are here for, and often I Embarassed get slack and don't get to reply to most.

I'm glad you are feling ok ish. But think if they have it, and have alot of samples- then you know for sure either way.

IF anything- then we'll (you, I and the rest) will kick arse and beat this thing- we'll be awear and know what we are up against.

If ok- then feww- what a relief, we can move on and enjoy life as much as possible and know that your ok, and sure that it is all ok. Because of the samples and the thorough tests.

Let us know how this go for you, Feel free to PM, or rant here.

Razz I often do. Wink
