Hello everyone,

Just thought I would give you and update on my husband. We have stopped all treatment. The gemzar and xeloda did not work. Then we tried the oxyplatin and xeloda. That was some terrible stuff. He only took one treatment and refused to take anymore. The side effects were horrible. He's still having problems and it has been three weeks since the treatment. Hospice has come in to help now. They keep him as comfortable as possible. He sleeps most of the time and eats very little. He's so weak he can barely walk. But he says he ready to go whenever the Lord is ready for him. I hate to see him suffer but I also hate to give him up. Please keep us in your prayers as we do all of you. May God bless.

Linda, I am truly sorry to hear about your husband. The staff from Hospice can offer you and your husband a lot of help. Do not be afraid to ask them for help when you need it.

My heart goes out to you. You and your husband continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
