Hello Richard,
For most people, temozolomide doesn't seem to have too negative of an effect. As Kristalle mentioned, my husband was the same with fatigue and an upset stomache, usually just after swallowing the pills because he said they tase awful.
The fatigue would usually start the 2nd day and continue to a day or two after he was finished taking the chemo (he was also on 5 days and off 23).
Best of luck to you Richard, I'll be looking for your full story.
Cheers!

Hi Richard. I am very sorry to hear about your brain cancer. What type and grade is it?
Temozolomide is the general name for Temodar, is band name. It has a great history of being well tolerated by patients. The major side effect is feeling weak and tired due to the impact on your blood cells. 49% of patients experience fatigue and 45% experience nausea.
I hope you are in the majority who do not have any side effects.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. _________________ Jim
