Hello, I was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of the appendixin August 2006. It is a rare appendix cancer (1 in 1,000,000) which spread to my abdomen. Had appendectomy, right hemicolectomy, bilateral oophorectomy, omentectomy, peritoneal debulking, followed by 6 months of chemo with 5FU, Leucovorin and Oxaliplatiin. I have had 2 clear scans and the next step is to have a second look surgery and possibly heated intraperitoneal therapy. Would love to hear from somebody with the same diagnosis. Thank you. Esther, welcome to the forums. I am afraid that you will not find anyone here with your exact diagnosis (1 in 1,000,000) but we do have others with Adenocarcinomas. I hope you find the support and information you are looking for.

2005 Recurrence this time said to be an Oligodendoglioma grade 3, same location.

I hope you find some useful information and support here. Sounds like you have been through alot. It would be wonderful to have you on this Forum. Maybe if you like, a detailed story about what you have gone through etc, Would help others. It may also get you some advice and help too.
