My dad was diagnosed with this today. He has been throwing up for several days now and is in the Hospital. Is this a temporary problem? What can we do to help him ?

Hi Kitty01. I am very sorry about your father's Pancreatic Cancer. How did the diagnose it; has he had a biopsy yet? Pancreatic Cancer is one of the most aggressive cancers someone can have. Therefore, it should be treated very aggressively. There are medications that he can take to try to control the nausea and pain. However, his prognosis is poor.

Your father is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry about your fathers diagnosis. Are they removing the fluid or the contempt of his stomach? Ascites is fluid in the abdomen which is a common sympton with PC. You did not give us much information for us to help you but I am sure that you do not have too much info in this early stage. Please let us know how your father is doing.
Take care,
Janice
