I have been feeling a small lump on my head which is between my skin and my skull. Is that a symptom? Ive had it for more than a year for sure but have not paid any attention. It only came to me yesterday that it may be a problem. All I know is that it has not grown bigger for sure and is a little red but thts cos ive been itching it maybe:S:S
Also, when i am on the computer, I am lying down and if someone phones, i stand up realy quickly to go get it. For a few seconds I feel a little dizy. Could that be related?

Hello Alex

I am sorry to hear about your health concerns & worries. So glad you found this forum.

The lump on the head should definitely be checked out by your Dr. It could be a benign cyst & hopefully nothing more serious, but you should consult your Dr to have anything serious ruled out, it's best to be proactive in these situations....as to the giddiness you experience when you stand up after lying down I would hazard a guess that this is due to a drop in your blood pressure (which happens to all of us). You could mention this to your Dr also & perhaps he could explain it better to you.

Thinking of you & I hope you will have these problems addressed soon for your own peace of mind.

Cheers, Angie.

Hi Alex-

I agree with Angie. Get it checked out, Most likely a white mole or cyst. Moles on the head, can feel more under then skin then on it.

But to make sure see your dr and get to a dermotologist, if they are unsure. Don't wait and watch- just get it looked at with a professional.

The dizzyness, can be low blood pressure. Alot of the time when your laying, your blood flow also slows, and regulates over the whole body. So when you jump up quick- it can drop to the lower body and make you feel faint. (why you lay someone down and raise feet if they faint or collapse). But still important to bring up with your Dr.

Good Luck- let us know how you go.
