SHES GONE!

I am crying as I write this. My mom died during the night. She got up at about 2 am and was coughing, and she couldn't breathe. Dad couldn't find her puffers and then she just fell of the chair. Dad tried to recesitate her and called 911 but by that time she was gone.

This is such a tragedy! this must be a bad dream we can't wake up from! My poor father had to witness all this. He is totally beside himself with grief Now we have to make funeral arrangements and we still don't even know what type of cancer it was, or if it spread or what.

Please pray for us as we try and work these details out through the fog of grief we are now in.

We do know you, because we can feel you and be with you.
Spiritually we are there for you and that is stronger than physically..that's why God will help you through this and our tears will be wiped by his love.

I'm so sorry. I haven't been on the forum very long but have been keeping up with the people here. I hope you find great solace in wonderful memories of your Mom.

Bonnie, I am SO sorry....I know that is tramatizing to your family and especially your dad. I will pray that God uplifts you and your family and gives you strength and peace to deal with it.

I don't know if this helps or not, but based on the tumor location, and it being so instantaneous, it is possible she had a heart attack. If so, she probably did not suffer any pain.

I am so sorry for your mom's passing. It seemed like you were just beginning the journey all of us were in the process of. Please accept my deepest sympathy and I will pray you and your dad get through this.

Bonnie, I, too, am so very sorry to read about your Mom. Only time can ease the pain. I will have you and your Dad in my prayers. Just try to get thru one day or hour at a time for now. Such a shock. You have my deepest sympathy.

My mom was diagnosed with NSCLC Squamous Carcinoma 10/23/2007. Wedge resection 11/20/2007. Final pathology showed poorly differiniated large cell carcinoma with invasion of visceral pluera, T2NxM0/stage 1B. 12/14/2007. No chemo elected.
