Hi all. My sister of 41 went to hospital for a really bad headache. She ended up being told she had a brain tumour, which after the operation they told her it was a secondary. She also had a stage 4 cancer in her lung. The brain tumour was removed, but it grew back, even with the chemo and radiation in just four weeks. She has been really unwell in the last couple of weeks.
Today they told us that it has moved to her liver and in her bone on her rib cage.
It is not fair, she also has a 2 year old daughter.
She was also given UP TO 3 months to live.
Life hurts sometimes! |

Hi Anne,
My thoughts and prayers are with You all,I can't even imagine what is going through Your Sisters mind right now.Sounds like things are moving pretty fast,it's such a sad situation,I don't know of any words that I could say that would comfort You right now.Keep Your faith and do what You know in Your heart to be right and hold steadfast, only God knows how many days we will be here, none of us know what he has in store for us -so we keep our faith and live one day at a time. There is a purpose for each and everyone of us-and-when we have finished our work it is time to go home.My oldest Sister died in a car wreck when I was 4 she was 17-never to know the joy of having children, a marraige or growing old,it was her time.Cherishing what we have and the time we are granted to love and be loved is such a wonderful thing and something to be thankful for .Like I said - i don't really know if anything I've said helped but my prayers are with You all.
God Bless You All!

Anne, how terrible! I am so sorry that you, your sister, and all of your family are going through this... this... hell on earth called cancer. No, it is not fair. No, it is not. I hope you can still find “quality time” to spend with your sister. Be assured that you are in my thoughts and prayers. _________________ Jim

| Anne, I'm sorry about your sister. It's even more worse that she has a two year old daughter... Cancer just isnt fair and doesnt care about anyone. Just keep strong... I know its hard though. |

My sister passed away on 7 March
I miss her so much
We that is her father Danny and I are trying to make her daughter who is 2 understand that mum is not coming back.
How do we do it. She is so sad. She wakes during the night saying I want my Mum.
What do we do. |
