My Pap came back with atypical glandular cells and now the Doc says that they want to do an endometrial biopsy. I didn't have any other symptoms, so they tell me that I have a 25% chance of it actually being something. My test isn't for two weeks and I need to know what to expect. I am worried.

Thanks Confused

Hi Chobbs,

I really dont know how to answer your question, but I certainly can understand your anxiety over this. An endometrial biopsy should reveal if there is a problem, and from my limited knowledge, I know paps can reveal cells to keep a watchful eye over, but are not cancerous. Please let us know how it turns out, and I will be praying all will be well for you.

Hi Chobbs,

Today my GYN gave me the same news. My biopsy is scheduled for 6/22/06. I am very nervous. Please let us know how this turns out for you. I'm 39 and have three small children. I am hoping this is nothing or something that can be treated.

You will be in my thoughts.
