My mom has just been diagnoised with type 2 or 3 endometrial cancer (this was from a biopsy only).

She is elderly, almost 80 years old, not in the best physical condition, and has a heart problem. She is scheduled for a hysterectomy operation in a few weeks, but is worried that it will cause more problems for her than it will solve.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea what may happen to my mom if she refuses treatment. How does a person with untreated endometrial cancer usually die? And how long might she live? I know these are difficult questions, but we are just trying to get some idea of the whole situation.

Thanks in advance.
