I am looking for some answers to what happens following treatment with the cyberknife radiation.

It was completed on my father for a tumor about 4 weeks ago. An MRI was done and it showed a very slight increase in the tumor that was treated. I was told that is not uncommon to have this slight increase and that the goal is to control this tumor.

Is it possible to see the tumor stop growing in the near future?

I was told the cyberKnife treatment works over several months, and maybe up to year. Is that true?

Just trying to get a handle on expectations with this treatment.

He is currently taking Temador as well.

thanks
