I was just told I had pre-cancer of the stomach and that I shouldn't worry about it. That I don't fall into all the high risk groups and that we should take a wait and see approach. My brief and quick discussion with my doctor last night left me with more questions today and I was hoping I could find some answers here until he gets back to me.

Was anyone here told that they had pre-cancer and not to worry and then it became a bid deal soon after? I am not sure how fast this type of cancer can grow, if it can be removed before it has a chance to spread, if I should push for every 6 month endoscopies instead of yearly?

Any advice or feedback on my concerns would be appreciated.
