Hi Shell,
Nope, it's not just you. It's just another long term side effect that
happens to some of us in various degrees. Here is a link to a site that
did a study on the effects of chemo.

Hi Shell,

I am 31 years old and was diagnosed in Apr '05 with stage IIIB Hodgkin's and underwent 8 cycles of ABVD chemotherapy. Yesterday I celebrated being 1 year cancer free. I can tell you that I had chemo brain as well and it drove me crazy not being able to concentrate on things like I used to, I had trouble multi-tasking, and I hated forgetting things all the time. Good news is that it does get better over time, bad news is that I still feel the effects from it. I know that they are doing more and more studies on this so that is good. I find the best thing I do for myself is if I have a thought, and know that I need to remember it, I will write it down right away. Otherwise I might forget like 10 min later. Sometimes I have notes all over the place, but it does help, and so does a good daytimer!
Anyways, I hope that this helps you to know that you are not alone in this, and if you have any other questions feel free to drop me a line anytime!

Kim
