I'm so worried.
I have pain on defecating and discomfort for hours afterwards.
Right hand side of rectum up about 6 inches.

After reading your posts it seems bleeding is the commonest cause of cancer which I dont have, but i'm still concerned.

Its probably something else but I would apprecaite any advise you guys can give me.

I am going to the docs about it, but i'm a bot worried about the camera business if he decides on it, as I've read that it can be quite traumatic.

That would be the best option to check for cancer. Ask you doctor to give you a mild sedation to do the scope and you wont feel a thing. Even after the procedure you will be comfortable.
