Smile Let's make a special "toast" to Dr. Leo. As Madge said, he's a wonderful person and doctor to take time away from him career and family to help folks on this site. Thanks, Dr. Leo!

Hugs,

Margie

I couldn't agree with you more, Margie. It is such a benefit to have a real doctor on board answering those medical questions that need a special expertise. Dr. Leo, I hope you and your family get some quality time this weekend and you get to enjoy some quiet time. Hugs, Lauri

I agree. Thanks Leo for starting this board and helping so many and allowing a group of us to come together at different stages of this disease and be able to know how they feel and hopefully we can help them with the emotional part.
Oh yea, about your age.......LOL I thought when I turned 46 in Oct. that I was still young and had a long life ahead of me and I wasn't going to let this disease get me. Then after you were SO kind to tell us your age, I realized that I could be your mother............THANKS......NOT LOL Please at least tell us that you have at least a few premature grey hairs.......LOLOL
Seriously, thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People who have to hear that horrible word "cancer" will be very glad if they had to be dx with it, they have you as an oncologist. Doing what you're doing with this board says alot about you and it's all good (except for your age....LOL) sorry, had to throw that in again.

Cheers to Dr. Leo! for giving us his time and support, and to all who offer their "two cents worth" to let us know we're not alone in this and there is hope and help out there--especially to those long term survivors who take the time to come back and reassure us that there are success stories out there when we're feeling doomed! Here's to a blessed, "better than 2004" year for everyone!

Hey

Thanks to you all for your kind words. Like I said before, having this great group of people around makes a big difference in my life and attitude towards patients. It is exactly what I was looking for: people that I could share my knowledge with. Often I do not know the answers, so I just research and it certainly helps me learn more about this terrible disease.

I wish you all a Happy New Year, let this year be full of health and joy.

regards,
Leo
