my son is having chemo for hodgkins lymphoma and now i just found out my husband has a pancreatic mass. he will be having a ct scan on tue. 4 months ago my brother-in-law was diagnosied with a brain tumor and my mother-in-law pasted away 22 years ago with stomach cancer. i am worried sick about this and worried for my 2 other sons, with all this family history of cancer.

Yes, this is a common question that many patients have when they find out about mutiple family members with cancer. Consider an evaluation by a cancer risk clinic or genetic counselor that specializes in cancer. These health professionals will take a full history including your extended family medical history. They will be best equipped then to help answer your question. Good luck.
