Hi Guys ,

Im a guy from Malta Im 28 years of age..
Is there any good dermothologhist out there? Plz!!?

Im worried about a typical mole That I have on my chest. The Mole was there since I was a child but im afraid , now it has changed . I mean its got a brown mark around it .

I went To 2 good dermotholigist here In Malta and they both told me its nothing to worry about .

I went to take the blood test too and it resulted good , no worries!!

But im still worried as I stare a lot at it during the day:(

The thing is that it doesnt hurt me or itching me nothing!!

It just have this brown mark around it ...

Btw melanomas always hurt , bleed or itch??

Melanomas don't always hurt, bleed or itch. However I think when they do it means they've progressed a lot. With my experience with melanoma, change would be one of the top factors. I would have a biopsy done just in case or get another opinion if you feel you need it. Two of my doctors didn't know I had melanoma when they looked at it, only until it was biopsied they found out. Yours could be nothing, but it's guess always better to be safe than sorry.

Hi Gilvert,

I totally agree with Jim_Hall... only a biopsy can tell for sure if it is a melanoma or something else. In addition, NO doctor, I don't care how good he or she is, can or will diagnose you over the internet. If you do not trust the diagnosis of your local dermatologists, seek out one somewhere else... preferably at a major medical center.
