My wife has had cancer on and off for the last 10 years. Her first bout with cancer came a few months after she gave birth to our first child, & barely after 1 year of marriage. It has been really tough. Her health has been a real challenge as she also deals with fybromyalgia as well.

I am however so very thankful that she is a survivor. She had another cancer surgery last year, & it hit me really hard. With two girls at age 6 & 9, the realization that I could lose my wife & that my kids wouldn't have a mom during those important teen years was tough to swallow.

As I was dealing with my own emotional struggle, I decided to put my thoughts and cares down on paper. I hadn't really tried writing music before, but I do have a background in music. & I felt the importance of finding some sort of vehicle to express myself.

I wrote a song that I would like you all to hear. It is called: "Better days". I have now sung it at several cancer fundraising events here in AZ, & I hope it encourages you.

To access the song, go to: www.soundclick.com/timjuillet and click on "music". Then choose my song, "Better days". Feel free to download the song, & forward it to your local cancer organization. I am hoping that this song will encourage others to stay the course to recovery.

God bless you!!

Thank you Jim, when my husband gets home in a bit I'm gonna play it for him. Sometimes I think he suffered more than I did . He used to write lyrics and poetry like I do but he stopped writing when I got sick. I don't know why. It was a beautiful song and I really enjoyed your voice. Good luck with your recording. In my heart, Kat

Thanks Kat,

Being that this song was written from my perspective about my wife, consider downloading this song for your husband. When you go to my site (www.soundclick.com/timjuillet), go to the music page & click on "MP3". It will download for free. Put it on a disk for him. Hopefully it will encourage.

Thanks for listening and responding.

God Bless,

Tim Juillet
