Greetings,

I began my hormonotherapy May 2007 with Aredia (each month), Tamoxifen (daily) and Zoladex (every three months).
I read that the 1 month Zoladex is considered better than the 3 months one.
Is there anyone in the same situation, or a similar one?
Thank you.

Hi. I've been on 3-monthly Zoladex for metastatic breast cancer for some time. My oncologist did double-check recently that 3-monthly was just as good as 1-monthly, because I think the 3-monthly version is (or was) only licensed in the UK for prostate cancer, but she concluded there was no problem. I am careful to make sure I get the injection punctually at the 12-week mark, though.
