| I am new here. I have a weird thing that has been worrying me for a while. I hardly ever drink, so I did not think that much of it, but last year I had a Margarita and upon the first few drinks, I had sharp, severe pain under my ears. I just thought that it was weird. Then, New Year's Eve I had one glass of Asti Spumante, and the same thing happened. I still just thought it was odd. It has happened to me twice more, and when I googled it, I found out it was a classic symptom of Lymphoma. I told 2 doctors and they never heard of it. I have no other symptoms except I do have a lot of itching on my ankles and legs, but could be dry skin, of course. I also have a lot of fatigue, but am very overweight. Should I pursue this further, or just listen to my doctor? I have normal blood work. Thanks- angela |

Angelica, your symptoms are not normal and therefore need to be studied further by your medical team. It probably is not cancer, but still you should know what is causing this pain.

I used to get a sharp pain like a stitch for a while when drinkin also.
I didnt realise that it was a symptom of Hodkins until after I was diagnosed, go check it out and get back to us on it. |

Hi,
Just reading everyones post and I agree. Check it out. It's not a normal thing- so something is amiss. Just do what you feel is right- you know your body best. Keep asking questions, keep getting test, till you happy.
