A drug that treats osteoporosis has also been found to be effective in preventing breast cancer. The results are published in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association.

I used Taxotere when I was first diagonosed with breast cancer and so, my doctor advised me to take taxotere, and it helped me, I wont deny that..the pain lessened and it cured the lump which was on my breast, and after I did laser therapy- chemiotherapy- the cancer stopped spreading and I continued on my medication: Taxotere

Has anyone looked into the effect that "Cruciferous" compounds play in cancer prevention? I saw a DVD where the doctor was doing a lecture on cancer prevention (and treatment) and he was specifically linking the lack of Cruciferous compounds in the human diet to hormonal and colonic cancers (breast, prostate, ovarian etc). There have apparently been some tests done with positive results in this field.
