Hi, adele202, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, I have no idea what that is. What is it? Is it used for Melanoma treatment? Is it a vaccine?
Sorry for not helping, but at least your topic gets bumped back to the top.
Bump!

Have you contacted Synta Pharmaceuticals and asked them? http://www.syntapharma.com/AboutUsContacts.aspx
I have been through the Trials registers, and cannot find any reference to UK trials. STA 4783 has only just been presented at the big European Clinical Oncology conference. It seems to have good things about it but all these trials take sooo long! |

Wow, just read up on that a little and it does look very promising. I'm goign to ask my Dr. about it.
Vee, is what you're saying mean it's not available yet?? Do they have an idea of when it might be??

Hello, Sodapop - If you read the material on the site, you will see that the company has run tests on which they have reported to major Oncology conferences.
However, in order that the drug is made available, it must be approved by the FDA in the US, and by NICE in the the UK. In both places, this will require further trialling to be done, under supervision.
The original query seemed to indicate that trials are planned in the UK - but if so they do not yet appear on the register of trials. Adele will have to contact the drug company and ask them for more information. Why don't you do the same - who knows - you might be eligible for trials! |
