Hi, everyone. I'm new here, please call me Jesse if you'd like to use a real name and not my screenname.  I'm a 24-year-old pre-op female to male transsexual, I live in California, and I love cats, medical/crime shows, roleplaying/creative writing, and drawing.
I'm wondering about how to become a live donor - that's how I found this forum. I've read a few articles about uterine transplants, and because I'm planning to eventually undergo gender reassignment surgery and will be having my uterus removed in the process... well, I'd like to see someone get some use out of it if possible.
I'm just not really sure how one goes about connecting to someone who needs a donated organ, particularly a nonvital one like the uterus. I'm also not well off financially, so ideally I'd like to find someone who could pay for the procedure, at least in part... but mainly, I'm in need of links, forums, anything that will tell me how and where to find someone who wants a uterus. ^_^;
I'd also possibly like to donate eggs or an ovary...
Incidentally, I'm in good health, have never been pregnant, have never contracted a sexually-transmitted illness, and my period's as regular as clockwork. I'm also at a prime age for having children, though I don't want any. There's no reason that I know of why I shouldn't be a perfectly viable donor. |

I'm not sure this is even able- but i would contact your medical stuff. Dr etc. And ask.....
Sure i've seen you post before...
maybe re post in Uterus thread too.

This is a relatively old post. It was posted on August 10 so you have probably seen it Inica. This member has never posted again. I was hoping this topic would die of "natural causes" but sodapop inadvertently brought it back to the top of the list  .
I will lock it so that it will go away for good  I hope no one minds.
