So...like I said before our doctor has been ignoring us basically just shoving pain killers down my throat. We did get our appointment with the gastrologist(Dr. is thinking IBS) moved to tomorrow, Tuesday. Yay.

Well last week I missed three days of school because I was terribly tired, in pain, and then developed a cough.
Friday I coughed up a little blood, we went to the ER and they said it was just from my sinuses draining down my throat. Now during this whole thing its just been a cough, my neck hasnt hurt or anything, it just felt like someone was squeezing on my neck. My mom says my lymph nodes are swollen. Now Im getting worried because thats how everyone starts "nodes in my neck" ya know?
I've still maintained a fever of 100 for the past two months.
I honestly dont think its IBS.
We went to another doctor last week when I puked and explained the pain to him and he thinks it might be diabetes.
Can a gastrologist figure out if it might be cancer?
Is the only way to find out is to do a biopsy?

I found this site by searching 'swollen lymph nodes near intestine'.
Then all these searches came up with lymphoma.

And what is the difference between NHL? and HL?

Thanks everyone!
PS: I broke my toe yesterday. Sad

EDIT: Here are the symptoms Ive been experiencing throughout these 2 months.
-gained 10 lbs, lost 5 lbs, gained 5 lbs, lost 5 lbs.etc
-constant fever. lowest=100 highest=103
-sweating really bad at night. dont even turn on heater.
-constantly feel like i havent slept in days
-low appetite
-increased itching
-horrible cough(got from a friend?)
-nausea
-SEVERE abdominal pain. both left and right sides; Dr. says its due to my lymph nodes in the pelvic area being inflamed to the size of 23 mm
-if i think of anything else ill add

But I was just feeling my neck and maybe Im making myself paranoid but I found a bump...I'll ask my mom about it tonight.

There is a difference between HL and NHL. HL is faster growing and thus "curable" with chemotherapy. HL is common in younger persons (mostly males iirc). NHL is slower growing and much more difficult to treat. My understanding is that you can never be in remission from NHL, and it is much much more common in older persons.
