Did anyone before they were diagnosed feel like their chest/sternum was raised, as if something was pushing it up? Or did anyone feel like something had pushed up on the side of the sternum and one of your ribs had popped up a bit? You can actually see the hump on my chest that appeared a month ago and has not gone down since. It doesn't hurt at all though.

Another question, did anyone have recurring low-grade fevers during the day that would go away at night? Also, did anyone have night sweats without high fever and without weight loss? Did it itch where your lymph nodes were swollen?

I am having all of these symptoms, along with a cough that I have had for over a year though (I am a smoker...but I smoke less than my friends and cough much more). Sometimes I cough so much that I gag...it is worse when I lay down or am tired. The past two weeks where my hump is there have been a couple of times when I have tried eating and it feels like the food is getting stuck around where the hump is...I have also been increasingly getting shorter and shorter of breath over the last 5 months or so. I am only 27. I have a rubbery feeling node in my left supraclavicular area that I found two months ago...at least I think it's a node, and two in left armpit. They all appeared sometime in the last 3 months. I am having night sweats now but I can't tell if they come and go with my menstrual cycle or not. I also have had chest pains that come and go over the last 5 months that feel like stabbing pains and like a tightness, but dad says that is just anxiety. I just think it's strange that I've had all those symtoms with my chest and now I have a hump in my sternum. I'm sorry this is so long.

My dad is an orthopedist and I am making him do a chest x-ray next week even though he says it's probably nothing and that it's not going to show anything. He does acknowledge that I have a weird hump on my chest though. Did anyone just feel like they knew something was wrong but couldn't get anyone to listen? I feel like I know my body better than anyone and it probably is nothing but I'm tired of being just sort of looked at like a crazy person because I am so young.

I'm not a doctor but it seems you have several of the classic systems of NHL. A chest xray probably isn't going to show tumors if you have any. You need more extensive tests.

I feel the same way.
We just got done with a gastrologist and Mom says if they dont find anything we are going to a OBGYN specialist.
I have all the classic symptoms and it feels like my lymph nodes are getting bigger.
But no one seems to want to listen to a 16 year old. *shrug*
