Hi there,

I am 34 yr old woman, I have been feeling unwell for about a year. I have been feeling much worse lately. The following are my symptoms:

-white blood cell count 3.2
-slight weight loss
-appetite is not as good
-nausea on and off
-swollen arm pit lymph node-painless about the size of a dime
-trouble breathing because my stomach muscles are so tired
-muscles are tired (burning feeling) when I do simple tasks ie:washing hair, brushing teeth, typing)
-shooting pains in muscle or bone not sur which
-tired
-shivering sensation when I am not cold. Usually happens when nodding off to sleep.
-weird numb/pressure feeling on my back next to my spine

Question- when is a WBC considered low enough for te possiblilty of cancer? I have hve been tested for viruses and everythig is fine. Also can you have lymphoma without the night sweats?

I have 2 very small children and I am worried, please some advice.

Thank you!!!

jeml, I am very sorry for your current health concerns. Your symptoms can be symptoms of many things... yes, including leukemia. But all of them could be caused by other things. Keep working with your medical team to try to find the cause. Have you talked to your doctor specifically about your concern that these symptoms might be cancer? He/She is in a better position to advise you about diagnostic possibilities.

Keep pestering them. If you think something is wrong with your body keep going to the doctors. You know your body best.

If you didnt know the only way to diagnose cancer is to get a biopsy.

Goodluck!
