Hello,

I recently finished my 6 cylcles of ABVD. I was incredibly happy to see the end. Sure I was not expecting to get bad news from the last pet scan since the pest scan done half way through the treatments was clear. I went for my results yesterday and to my surprise the report showed some active lymph nodes on another side of my neck. How is this possible? According the the previous pet scan I was responding very well to the chemotherapy. I don't know what could have happened. Now I have to go back to my ENT and probably get another biopsy. My Oconlogist told me I would have to go through high dose chemotherapy and Stem Cell Transplant. I am really scared and I don't know what to expect. Has anyone experienced this?

All comments and stories will be appreciated. Thank you so much.

That's pretty much my story. I had 4 months ABVD and mine came back. I'm in the hospital right now. I had my first stem cell transplant today. I won't tell you its easy because its not. Hopefully you are close to a good cancer center. I'm at City of Hope.

I'm about two years out from Day 30 of my transplant.
