a newbie question:

Just got results from blood count:
WBC RBC HB HCT are all a little low (below normal value range), but when compared with the same tests just 5 weeks ago- they are all down 5 to 10 percent.
Don't know what it was like before- I used to be healthy and never did checkups Sad

Anyone have/ hear of problem like that related to PC before treatment?
PSA 32 Gleason 9- not taking any treatment yet.

Health!

Thanks Murdock,

What especially concerned me about drop in blood count was:

- if this might be an indicator of bone-marrow involvement
- if a sudden drop indicates an more urgent situation/ need immediate action
- if this affects treatment options- since some of them may cause anemia

Got the results of my bone scan- clean. Expert doctor isn't interesting in talking to me until I have results of CT- scheduled for next week...
