I was a member of this forum from March 05 through May 06, when it went down.

I have just found it again, however I have lost touch with the members of the group back then. The following user names were active then. If anyone knows if they are still posting or not, please let me know.

archlapeer; bradley996; toe54; Chris; vic;

If any of these members read this, you can contact me at gemese@bellsouth.net

Hi Ed, I have been a member since October 2005 but I do not remember it ever going down. I did check those names and only for Chris to be an active member. The last time she posted was in June 2005.

Your registration seems to be correct in that it shows you have been a member since March 2005. However, it says this is your first post :O. I have no explanation for what happened. Nevertheless, welcome back. How are you doing?

Jim thanks for your answer. In early 2005 this particular Prostate Cancer site would be good for about six to seven weeks and then you would have to decide to continue and a new moderator would take over. We had two moderators before October of 2005. A few weeks before October 2005 the site went down and we were given the option of saving all our post, which I did. In October 2005 I renewed my participation, however I was never given the option of joining the Prostate Cancer Site. When I requested to do so, I was sent an email that my request would be considered. I never heard from anyone until around May of 2006, when I again asked to rejoin the site. This was granted, however I never could find a group that was dedicated to Prostate Cancer. It was only until yesterday, when I got an email that a new post was sent to my email that I even knew that this site was up and running. This post turned out to be no more than an advertisement, however it has led me to where I am now sending this. I don't begin to realize why and how this has happened, however I would like to take this opportunity to relate to those that have recently joined this forum the importance of being part of a support forum. I have gone from the very bottom of despair to living a fairly good life after my radical prostectomy. I have not fully recovered and realize now that I never will, however it is with groups such as this that I have been able to deal with the problems I have encountered along the way. I am not sure whether I will post again or not. I was very much hoping to reconnect with the old members that I so often spoke with through this forum. They were a special part of my recovery and I miss being able to talk with them.

By the way, the Chris I was talking about was a man.
